TypoSnap – Highlight text, hit Ctrl+Shift+F, typos gone (Windows)

I've always hated grammar and spelling mistakes in my writing. The mistakes themselves frustrate me. But what frustrated me almost equally was how tedious every existing solution felt. They all demanded context switching: copy your text, open a separate app, paste it in, wait, copy the result back. For a quick Slack message, that's like booking a flight to visit your neighbor.

So I built TypoSnap. It sits in your system tray and does one thing well. Highlight text in any application, press Ctrl+Shift+F, and it corrects grammar and spelling in place. There's also Ctrl+Shift+G for spelling-only corrections. No browser extension, no web app, no copy-pasting. The whole interaction takes about three seconds.

It's AI-powered, which means it occasionally gets creative in ways you didn't ask for. Always review the output. But for everyday emails, commit messages at 2 AM and Slack replies typed while half-listening to a meeting, it's been a genuine quality-of-life improvement.

This is my first product as a solo developer. Currently Windows only, with Mac and Linux on the roadmap if there's interest. Would love feedback from HN.
